With The Leap, immigrants have the support they need to find their dream job and build a successful career.
Why + Problem
Immigrants bring valuable skills to their new communities, but they often struggle to find the right resources and job opportunities. Without guidance, finding a suitable job can be difficult.
By offering support and resources, we can help immigrants find jobs that match their skills and goals. This empowers them to build successful lives and strengthens the community. With the right help, immigrants can contribute to a more inclusive and thriving society.
Research
I conducted interviews with my immigrant friends to understand their main challenges during their internship experiences in the new country and what they were seeking in a job. Additionally, I extensively researched various websites and applications that assist individuals in finding employment. By comparing their strengths, weaknesses, and notable features, I gained valuable insights into the landscape of job search platforms and resources.

Plan It Out
The app allows users to easily search for job openings in their local area and post their resumes. This dual feature not only helps job seekers discover new opportunities but also makes it easier for employers to find and connect with qualified candidates. By combining job search and resume posting, the app increases the chances of successful job placements for both job seekers and employers.
